My name is Gradyn Bowd I am 22 years old. I was raised in Red Deer attending River Glen School until grade 9 and then transferred to Lindsay Thurber for High School. I graduated in 2010 achieving male athlete of the year and 1st all-round student. During high school I won 4 provincial medals, bronze and gold in rugby, gold in badminton and bronze in handball.

After graduation I moved to Vancouver to play rugby putting education on hold. Rugby took me from Vancouver to Australia for a year and then to the Junior National Team. In Vancouver my team won two provincial titles, Australia we won the league title and in the Jr. World trophy we placed 6th. I had to delay my rugby career due to injury and took up coaching the Sr. men’s team in Red Deer along with a variety of other youth teams. I hope to play with the wolf pack this spring and join my fellow brothers at the Red Deer club for another season during the summer.
